you remind me of a diamond, at times...

hidden quietly in darkness
     created dull and rough
exposed at last
     after years
         of polished thoughts

reflecting brightness
     uniquely chiseled
each faceted turn
     giggles in rainbow ribbons
revealing a joyous centered setting
     brimming in dusty magical dreams
bouncing with gems of wisdom
     adorned with experience
         pointing to knowledge
melting icy mountains
     with endurance and laughter
glittering diplomacy
     flashing instantly
         into a prism smile

your warm sleeping nearness
     delightful in this moment
         dances on my dawn!
