Poem

Just Another Day

In the spirit of an evening
On a street lined with oaks
Blonde follicles that liven
Movements that provoke
Eyes that bounce...in their sockets
Sparks that fly...Retro Rockets
Phosphorous of fireflies glimmer
Loop and dodge, dimmer dimmer
Pacing steps with each pant
Legs high steppin...thighs that dance
Baying Basset...chasing sparks
Lightening insects in the dark
Nighthawk squeals his dining call
Breasts are dancing, bouncing balls
Licking flashes fly through night
Steppin faster...sweat that fights
Paces toying, wounds to heal
Memories chasing thoughts until
Exasperated female wiles
Court each one then gently files
Away the pains...and catches up
With lanterned bugs and long-eared pups
Marsh that beckons...teasing pains
Tears to lick and smiles to gain
Night path moves within her steps
Quickened grounds that give in depth
Each new step completes the pace
Moods swing yonder...saving grace
Stars upon her shoulders there
Dancing Congas in her hair
Flecks upon each hollowed spot
Dots of lightening skip and hop
Reeds that live each shouldered life
High top joggin'...slicing night
Quiet is broken til next time
Step on a dollar...give in a dime
Ounces of lovin'...pounding away
Echoed in hearts...another day.
