Natures Food Chain

The shadows of the mighty elk did beckon with his stature...
The eager fever of this man intense within this rapture
Of testosterone from males so great...this animal...this man
To call upon a mighty truce and calmly take a stand
Of where to mark the spot for now...the cartridge aimed just right
The warmth of fur to aid the chill is calling man tonight
And nature gives and man receives another warming gift
For animals are here for us... as insects are for swift..
Birds of flight that need to feed upon another world
And all in all the needs are met for each and every squirrel
The fruits and nuts are there for them and morsels from the earth
Are taken once again to give...to take...to feed and birth
Then Nature's circle is complete for all of us to gain
The feeding frenzy of our earth through nature's own food chain
