Say Love

Words are words, and nothing more
Words can break a heart, I'm sure
Carelessly used, without regard
For outcome, consequence, or harm
One may say love
Without feeling love at all
The same of hate and fear is true
So do I dare, say love to you?
For how can I say love,
When you've heard it much before?
How can I say love
When I'm not even truely sure
How do I say love
To someone I've known so long?
What if I say love
and it turns out that I'm wrong?
I can't risk losing you, you mean way too much to me
But how can I keep these feelings under lock and key?
I know I need to tell you
But I just can't find the words
How can I say love
When what I feel is so much more?
