Soft Rose Petals on Your Pillow

Fate has brought us together through words and understanding,
Our arms reach so far and yet are never touching.
Our hearts beat together in sync with each other,
It is a love and admiration that cannot be compared to any another.
Every morning I wake with a smile knowing what you are thinking,
A warm sensation engulfs my body and my eyes are twinkling.
The sun now rises and sets on all that has been given to me,
I have no reason to be sad, for my heart has been set free.
I spend every waking moment wondering where you are, what you are thinking and what you are doing,
I pray that you are safe, having a great day and are always smiling.
I would give my last breath for you as I know you would for me,
You see, life is not life if it were not a part of thee.
The time shall come when I can feel your soft kisses and warm embrace,
All my dreams shall come true and I shall take you to my secret hiding place.
Until we meet, I shall send you mornings filled with sunshine and evenings of sweet dreams with soft rose petals on your pillow.
