Stag of Hearts

Reason being nature calls, echoed waters, as they fall
Outdoor miracle waiting here solo quest for this deer
The Stag of Hearts standing proud
Pounding streams with hearts so loud
He stands and waits just for me
My spirit calls while his is free
Mine is labeled Cautious Heart
He stands waiting for his part
Souls of two...animal and SHE
Dreams connected...shaded trees
His mind dissolved in yesterday
My dreams follow...come what may
Come and take ..unspoken chance
Heart to Hart...care to dance
I'm his Doe and he's my Stag
He's my spirit...souls are tagged
Deer to Dear and heart to Hart
Spirit / souls...will never part
When magic happened yesterday
Two souls returned...began their play
Silence in this forest glen
Soul of man with time to spend
Running wild in this park
Dancing freely heart to Hart
Racing rivers...chasing dreams
All-in-all...love it seems
Smells of campfire...lantern light
Nature's wonder...hearts take flight
Take this dream and make it real
Take these hearts and watch them fill
Nothing matters with this dance
Love is making happenstance
Emotions tasting...touching nature
She and him...his regal stature
Locked in stares and blinks of lashes
Bedding down near campfire ashes
She in him and him in her
Evening shadows...nothing stirs
These hearts of nature...quest for two
The Doe is me...this Stag is you
Forest glen with blanketed souls
Merging nature...hearts on hold
They wait for love in this dream
Within his Doe...her heart screams
Come to me...as his heart leaps
She guards his heart and his...she keeps
