Poem

Still Waters

Spellbound and loving it...heaven deep in thought
Holding on to a memory in a fisted clutch and caught
Sucking up the essence of every breath you took
Lapping like a gentle tide , a page turns in the book
Feathered brush strokes along this ebb...two pulses holding hands
Passions paint in bolder strokes ...a new chapter makes a stand
Ebbing with a fine line this bonded pleasure grows
Supernatural fissures as breathless love reposes
Heaven sent this miracle and opened up its growth
It brings a smile so generous...a lump grows in my throat
My blood runs with his now and memories ooze to keep
The love of all my lifetime... still waters running deep.
