I can tell myself I'm over you...
Then smile with every purge
My breath comes in with every doubt
Then bungles every word
Its easy letting go...for sure!
There is no magic spell
Lock out the smile you had for me
Then add this holy hell
Take away your subtle charm
That eased with every flow
Hide, in tact, a hollow shell
Forget the rosy glow
Allow the moments, so defined
Then blur the image there
You see, you're gone, vanished, kaput!
There's nothing else to share
Take from me this fullness
That met each beating part
Replace the shell with emptiness
Leave echoes in the heart
Its easy letting go , you see
My feet are planted...firm
I can forget and will survive
This pain that doesn't burn
I will let go and you will see
This spirit can release
This heart that doesn't weep at all
