Love Shall Reign

My heart is filled and heavy with sadness.
My soul lost amongst the waves of the ocean.
Forever floating and never meeting the land.
Drifting aimlessly without purpose or feeling.
Soon my soul shall be rescued and brought
to the warmth of the earth.
A final resting spot to cleanse and heal.
A glowing soul shall be born to bring joy and
happiness to the hate-filled world.
A world that will soon open wide
and let light shine in.
So refreshed, so rejuvenated.
Hearts filled with sunshine, faces bearing smiles, arms
embracing and love being spread throughout the land.
Flowers begin to grow, birds start to sing and
the sun rises and sets each day with new meaning.
People shall live in peace and harmony.
Extending a helping hand to those who
have fallen and need a lift.
Sharing precious moments in hopes to show that
not all has been lost or forgotten.
One cannot dream of such greatness but put
effort into creating such a world.
Reluctance shall be nonexistent and
replaced with eagerness.
In the end, hatred shall be conquered
and alas...Love shall REIGN!!!
