Ricochet Love

Ricochet love...rebounding like hops
Hopes on the loose...misery flops
Into the pit of robust despair
Flown with the wind...nary a care
His fault or hers, who really knows?
Retort of a wail...moans come and go
In glides a Romeo...smile on the winds
Checking out tears...emotions to bend
Love rising up...thinking of passion
Thoughts that are deep...in the right fashion
Time for the hurt...giving it wings
Romeo's words like sweet tunes that sing
For love is still there...waiting for him
Or her as the mold transforms to grim
Chances of her taking sour with the sweet
Lust in cadence...with new hearts that meet
The old was the crux of desires that were true
Forgetting is bouncing like tears from the blue
And all forlorned hearts that jump when they hear
The ricochet beats of the hearts dying near.
