Poetic Hearts

From one poetic heart to another,
Welcome to a world of words that shall forever gather.
These words shall enlighten hearts
that have yet to see the beauty surrounding them,
In the course of time, this will bring an end to all their mayhem.
Their eyes and hearts will then be opened wide,
Allowing all the unseen love and passion inside.
Are we the chosen ones who are to do this task?
This is a question that has no answer and shall forever be asked.
Take this gift that you so serenely possess,
Give it all and never give less.
In our hopes and dreams so true,
We unselfishly give a promise of a world
filled with colorful flowers and skies so blue.
Deeply know that your words shall make an impact,
Real love, beauty and happiness shall be found....this is a fact!


This poem is dedicated to a very dear and gentle man, Bill. His poetic heart has unselfishly spoken to mine. He has not only opened my eyes but my heart as well. For this, I shall forever be grateful.
