Poem

Tired Eyes

I seen it all
So I thought
These tried eyes
Of mine

I have seen the poor
Robbed of their senses
By the wealthy

I seen the elderly
Made to feel without worthless
Because of their age and wisdom

I have seen mothers
Sacrifice their children
For there own lust and well being

I have seen the wealthy
Blame, instead of
Being held accountable
For their injustice
They inflict on others

I thought I seen
it all but there is
much more to see
From these tried eyes of mine
