Poem

The Silent Winds

And we dance
Stars falling by a sleeping sun as we move
Wish upon me a song of hope
Whispered, as another year passes
>From forgotten wisdom to devastation
And back again
The circle and the light, enlightened
The crying October winds
Speak of midnight dreams, silent
Visions in slow motion
Progressing my mind
Seeking my uncharted soul
Writing a new chapter
Upon white pages which I bleed
Bright red verses from past rhymes
A layering of life's work
Epoch
Epic
Ethereal reality of my making
Fallen by the fading light of fall
Awoken by the winds of October
The silken autumn red of the ocean, open
Tonight all is silent
Tomorrow all is well
And into the fire we dance...
