Poem

The Other Half of Me

To the top of the mountain this quest I took
The eager search of a woman overlooked
High till the hawk cried from beneath
High as the hopes in bundles that keep
Getting fatter with desires and needs
Spilling the honey...awaiting your seeds
Then you...
You were there and the souls parted the space
You touched my fingers...kept up with my pace
Confounded the needs...opened a fountain
Produced a need that echoed in mountains
The frenzy...
The sunburned hands that drifted on flesh
The lips that roared and passions meshed
The push and nips...the bites just then
The roar of thunder on sunburned skin
The sparks that lit a darkened night
The fluids merged with love...the sight
The lesson...
Of eyes upon a drunken bond
The one that stays...a gift so fond
To two who met a challenge dared
Then came apart but stayed in paired
Love can place a special wand
Upon a pair with outstretched arms
Upon a love so great in need
That each new glance is its own seed
To grow and prosper...forget the past
Hold to hopes and watch it last
There in dreams' mountain...me so free
Embodied in you...the other half of me.
