Poem

Windmills of the Heart

Windmills of the heart that turn
The ease of breaths that sing
Sunlit days of endless love
Flights of doves on wings

Starry nights that twinkle
A moon's iridescent glow
Shadows blend the pair as two
Dances...toe to toe.

Thoughts of you are searching
Provocative nature here
Warmth of love so gentle
Smiles confused with tears.

Love enriches spirits
Eyes see colors where
No light shone before you
Hopes and future there.

Free to fly with clouds
Wander in the wind
Souls that catch the drafts...as two
Hearts are on the mend.

Windmills of the heart
Embrace the clouds of blue
Carry on the breaths of love
Till then..till now...till you.
