This Land

We travelled across this great land and stopped to stare.
At the many wonders of nature while the trees were still bare.
From farmlands, forests, mountains, foothills and streams.
We wandered the valleys and fished in the streams.

There were many places that we really loved to see.
It would be the places many others would love to see.
We walked through the gardens in the cities of our dreams.
We have learned what pride in our great country means.

When you travel through this land you are proud that you can share.
The many wonders of nature that will welcome you there.
The many cities and towns that were settled by people who cared.
The land that many of our ancestors came to settle and shared.
