Watching people is an interesting way to spend your time
I watch people run, snatch, and grab.. this, a hobby of mine.
Everyone seems to be about the same,
One follows the other in playing this game.
No one seems to know what they want, but would throw a fit,
And probably would bite someone in order to get it.
The younger set are in such a hurry to fetch,
They probably pass up more than they can every catch.
Hopefully, they will finally realize,
That they have been foolish.. not wise.
Chasing rainbows is a story.. very old,
If only one would look close by, they might find the gold.
Children are more pleasing to watch than adults,
To them there is no ifs, ands, or buts.
They live in their land of make believe.. how great
They have no assets or liabilities on their slate.
In observance of that above,
We must be careful that the hand fits the glove.
Each person is the skipper of his ship,
Therefore, I wish you luck in planning your lifes trip.
