Faithfulness

Well, you know, God, I am glad to see
as I look back and was very young,
You took good care of me.
As I grew up in my home, Mama and Papa
used to say to me, Never roam and
you will see, your Heavenly Father
will be with thee.
(From a little girl I have always believed.)
So--with Mama and Papa's advice
I would always think twice.
And you know, Lord,
It sure has been right.
Papa always went to church and Sunday School,
And that is where I learned The Golden Rule.
I know now why I am proud to tell,
Mama and Papa raised us all up pretty well.
