I recently read Billy's story on the playhouse ghost. For the last two years I have been a stagemanager at the playhouse. As stagemanager I have witnessed several strange things. One night, I shut off the back light. As I was leaving the light came back on. I opened the door again and shut it off again (this went on two more times).
Not thinking too much of it (it is an old barn and electrical problems are commonplace), I went to my car When I started the car up the radio volume was turned up as high as it could go. (I always keep the door locked) I also ran lights for the show and one night a certain light kept fading in and out, not as if it was burning out, but as if someone was actually working the light. Also, this year I saw a man walk into the right side corner of the theatre.
I went to see if it was a friend of mine who was maybe looking for something, but when I went into the corner noone was there. The only other exit was through the back door, and someone would have walked through the dark downstairs and unlocked the door. People have witnessed figures in mirrors, Props that move themselves, and certain feelings that the old artistic director JP Alexander is still there. Many people have told me that he is a very nice spirit, and only messes with people to just let them know he is there. There are several other stories, but no time to write right now.
