One thing first, I'm an Aussie. I'm a experinced bushman, I know the forest like the back of my hands. This happened to me a few weeks back and still not too sure what to make of it. I know the history of my area very well and there's a story dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. Farmers decided to hire out Hindus to help to clear the forest.

100 went in, not one ever came back. Now, for my story. I was walking through the forest, beautiful winter day, cold and windy. I was a few miles in the forest when the unexpected happened. I was on an old logging road, the forest has reclaimed this old road. I was walking along when from the shadows of the trees a Indian, Hindu, appeared. He wore the traditional clothing, completed with the headgear.

He stood in the fading sunlight, looking at me (or something) then...he vanished...so did I...never ran so damned fast in my life. Got back to my car under record time. I told a freind about it so he went up there two days ago (4/9/03)and he too saw the ghost of the Indian. True story, man.
