The story you are about to read is true. My name is Richard and I live in a small suburb in Massachusetts. I have lived there all of my life, in a house my father built in 1960. The site of the house, we were told, was directly over train tracks that were used in the 1800's.(gone by the time I was born) The tracks were a needed means of tranporting goods and people in the area. When I was growing up, the house did make noises, but I took it as the house settling because it was newly built. We did have a fly problem though, and many mornings I would wake up to see my bedroom window literally made of flies, sunlight could not even get through. This kinda scared me, but they were just insects, and I was interested in them.
I didn't, at that time, link it with any paranormal phenomena. As I entered into my teens, I noticed things around the house were weird. I sometimes would enter my room and my dresser drawers would be all open, and my clothes flung around the room. I would ask my parents
Did you go into my room today?, and they always replied No, why? but I never told them,(they knew of the flies) in fear they would move away. it I will say, never harmed me and I was fascinated by the idea of it.
The wierd thing is, only my room was affected. I now live in the same house with my wife, but the phenomenon has ceased. I never looked up the history of the tracks, who worked on them, etc.
I don't want to know, and I'm better off not knowing. Thanks for reading my true story.
