My dorm room last year was very freaky. . . .it has a long and glorious history of being haunted, and every year more tales get added to the story.

Apparently, just after the dorm was built in 1865, a young girl "got into trouble" with her young man. She hadn't yet told him that she was pregnant, but was going to when she saw him next. The night she was to see him, he was late, and she began to get worried. Time passed, she got more worried. More time passed, and the hall director came to tell her that her boyfriend had died on his way to see her. She then crawled into the crawlspace in the room and killed herself. Ever since, her ghost has been said to haunt the room.

Anyway, throughout the years, moans have been heard, electrical appliances have mysteriously turned on etc. etc. But the only strange thing that's ever happened to me were phone calls and knocks on the door at odd times of the night. Nothing that can't be explained by practical jokers who know the history of the room, but all in all, it was very creepy.
