Now I am 16... but when i was 7 theres was this creek by my granpa's house... i loved to go in it... and look at my refection. but one day... it all changed. My grandpa used to always come with me. he used to tell me, never go to the creek alone!
I just figured he didn't want me to fall in, but now i'm not so sure. i would have asked him... but i never had the courage. But now i do... but its too late. my gradpa's dead. After he died... i went to the creek. the creek was always deserted. but when i went after my grandpa died... i looked in the water... and saw a shadow... it looked small and wrinkly. i was only eight so it gave me a little fright. But i got really scared when it said, What's wrong Jami? in a dry voice. I felt my heart shrink. I was stupid at the time, so i said sarcasticly' ha, ha, ha aunt karen! I turned around hysterically laughin when i noticed it wasnt my aunt. She was frowning. Why didn't you listen to your grandpa?? Dont go by the creek alone!!! i saw her hand reach into a pocket. i had no idea what was going to happen. then...she pulled out a knife. i ran and ran and ran. when i looked back... she was gone.
