My stepfather is in the marines and we live in Pensacola Florida so we live close by a base where lots of military families are stationed. One night I was babysitting these two little girls in their house on the base. The girls names were Anna (3) and Mary-Beth (2)

We were sitting in the dining room and i was feeding the girls dinner. they were sitting across from each other at the table and i was facing them. All of a sudden Anna goes Courtney who's that man standing behind you? and I automatically thought there was a burgler in the house, so i spun around really fast and there was nobody there. I turned back to anna and said anna what man? and she said courtney that man standing right behind you. I turned around and once again there was nobody standing behind me. So i turned back to anna and she said courtney you dont have to be afraid he's not going to bite you! and then it got cold.I asked anna what he looked like and she said that he said his name was Polo, and that he was wearing a war costume with a big bloody boo-boo on his leg. (remember she's only three so thats why she said boo-boo)

After the girls were finished eating i rinsed off their dishes and put them in the sink. then i went into their playroom to put on a movie for them. I went back into the kitchen and the plates were on the floor. The sink is too high for any of the girls to reach in, so i got scared. I picked up the dishes and put them back in the sink. i left the room and returned into the kitchen and the dishes were on the floor again. I picked them up and put them back into the sink and yelled STOP IT!!! and they stayed in there for the rest of the night

As i mentioned before i had started a movie in the playroom for the girls, so we went ot go watch it. we were all sittin on the couch, Mary-Beth on my lap and anna sitting right beside me. the remote control was all the way across the room. All of a sudden the lights went out and started flickering,then the movie we were watching turned off and the channels started changing i screamed STOP! and the tv stopped on the history channel, which was talkin about Fort barancas( which is in pensacola about 1/2 a mile from where i was right then) and it was talkin about the civil war and how it was fought there. remember how i said that anna had described a man wearig a war costume...coincidence or not? i think this man fought and was killed in the civil war.

Then after the whole tv thing the girls have this little rocki horse. and if you push one ear it starts rocking and playing music, and if you push the other ear it neighs. well the batteries were dead, and we were still sitting on the couch and it started neighing and playing music and rocking. then anna screamed no that toy is too big for you polo you are going to break it! let me just put it this way...i was freaked out

well thats my adventures in babysitting for that night....i'm supposed to go there this weekend to babysit again. who know's what might happen this time!
