Army Stories Part 2
Ghost

submitted by Keith Tan

This is a 2nd part of my series.

Location: Lim Chu Kang Cemetry
Story : This is going to be a very short story; quite true as it was told to me by the officers involved in this story. There was this company in my unit going for a long tiring route march. Along the way, they would have to march through the Lim Chu Kang Cemetry. These 2 officers were walking behing the troops and both were listening to radios via earphones. As they progressed further and further into the cemetry, both officers' faces turned pale and they took off their earphones. For the whole march, they did not open their mouths.

When they reached camp, they finally asked each other and made a startling discovery. It seems that as they were walking through the cemetry, they began to realise that the different radio stations they were listening to, began to play the same songs and these songs were of different languages. As they re-traced the route, they made a even shocking discovery; as they passed the Hindu section of the cemetry, their receivers began playing Indian songs; as they passed the Muslim section, they played Malay songs; and as they passed the Christian Section, they played English songs! Ain't it spooky?
