My neighbour Jess had this nightmare about this guy who would always wait outside her door. Her parents went to Malaysia for 3 days. She was all alone and would always have the same nightmare untill she told me about it, i suggested that its best to do more prayers during the night before she slept. She did.
Few days later, Jess told me that she could hear voices outside her window as if the person was standing just outside her corridor, you see Jess's room window is facing the corridor, she could see anyone who walks past her room in the night. The voices would be soft and distant yet it sounded just outside her bedroom window. There was this night when the voices became too harressing that she called me straight away to go over to accompany her and i did. We spent the night in her room, for the first time that night, i heard the voice calling out to Jess. Sometimes it sounded as if it came from the void deck but sometimes it comes from the corridor.
Suddenly we heard banging noises. It was knocking the window grills. It seems that it is forcing its way into the room. We prayed hard. I peeked and saw a shadow of a head knocking into the window grills. I was terrified my friend kept praying, soon the banging sound was gone. We stayed together on the bed untill morning. I called my brother to pick me up and we spent the next few days in my home.
After consulting many people about it, someone told us that Jess offended some spirit who was loitering her block. She stepped on some joss sticks on her way home. She went back to give some offerings and after the incident, we had became more careful on things we step and where we walk.
