My story is about a malay women ghost which is known as the Pontianak. For what I have known, many people were scared of this ghost as it may hurt us in any way for example Choking us.
I once lived in Upper Changi Road which is near Bedok South Sec. My family lived on the 25th storey which was the highest floor. I lived there for almost 4 years where there is always something spooky happening at night or in the evening. One night, it was Thursday night when my younger sister who is then 7 and I can't sleep. So I decided to play a game of Monopoly with her.
It was almost 12 midnight when we started our game. When we were playing happily, I heard an unusual noise coming from my window which were just near our bed. I was scared but just kept quiet as it may scare my sister too. The noise continued when suddenly it stopped in a sudden. I quickly asked my sister to keep the Monopoly board and just sleep. To my amazement, the noise started again and it was getting louder and louder every moment. The noise sounded like someone scratching my window.
I was frightened as the noise was loud enough to be heard. I then remembered that it was Thursday night and according to Malay beliefs, ghost will come out on that particular night after 12 midnight. It make me more frightened and chill at my spine.
So my sister and I just close our eyes tightly and soon fall asleep. The next day, we saw scratches on our window panel and the scratch was deep as if there is someone who have long fingers is scratching. From that day, I don't even dare to sleep late at night and the next year, our family moved out from that house .
P.S : Don't buy flats that is at a high storey. It only brings spooky things to you so .. Consider it before it Happen To you !!!
