Last june holidays my family went up north to m'sia. Before that my mum decided to visit the graves of her late father, grandfather and uncle. We left the house at 7am and reached the Muslim cemetery at 8am. Upon reachng there i could only sense dead-silence. Luckliy the graves were right next to the road leading to the main road. My mom and dad read a few prayers and prayed that our trip would be a save one.

Later, i could sense that my mom was trying to connect with her late father. I could see the concentration on her face. She seemed very sad but she didn't want to show it. Later my dad asked whether she felt anything - my mom said that she got the feeling that her late father was with her. At that momnet i felt like the people lying in the graves started to listen to us. Then they sky turned dark and lightning flashed. It was goin to rain. My dad said that we had to leave so as not to get stucked in the morning jam up to the second link.

In the car i asked myself - Was the sky turning dark a coincidence....or was it my maternal grandfather trying to give a sign.?
